This is the most positive news for Travelport in quite some time. Fifteen years after Sabre won the business of Abacus away from predecessor company Worldspan, Travelport has returned the compliment but this time in Japan. This could be a poor omen for Sabre in the competition for JAL's PSS business, but as Travelport is no longer a major player in PSS perhaps it will have no bearing on that decision.
