Hitit signs and implements another new customer with Precision Air in Tanzania
Hitit have announced the implementation of a new airline Precision Air on 6 April 2016. Hitit's modern technology coupled with a sound understanding of the capabilities required from an airline savvy crew makes them one of the vendors to watch. They are competing effectively in a market segment with more than 300 million passengers boarded. T2RL expect them to grow significantly in the coming 12-18 months.

İstanbul, 12 April 2016 - Tanzania's airline industry leader Precision Air has announced Hitit Computer Services as their new service provider for PSS needs. The announcement came after 2 parties signed an agreement that includes inventory management, pricing, reservations, ticketing (Crane PAX), built-in loyalty management functions (Crane PAX Loyalty Layer) and departure control system (DCS).

Precision Air started in 1993 as a private charter air transport company, operating a five-seater Piper Aztec aircraft with its headquarters in Arusha. Nowadays it is operating from its main hub Dares Salaam- the commercial city of the United Republic of Tanzania flying to 9 (nine) domestic destinations and 1 (one) regional. With the company’s mission to provide superior airline services that are customer focused, reliable, safe and competitive, Precision Air look forward to expand its network, with plans to open up 3 more domestic destinations till the end of 2016.

Consequently, as part of Precision Air’s strategic plan of modernization and adopt new technology, it has selected HITIT as the provider of Passenger Service Solution (PSS). It is important to note that such choice is integrated within the company’s commercial sector IT plan to adopt state of the art technology as evident in many other cases. Hitit’s Crane PAX, PSS solution provides airlines the flexibility and control they need in adopting and benefiting from the changing market conditions, with alternatives in inventory control, fare structures, ancillary services and partnership capabilities.
