However, not only does their data end up in silos they often lack appropriate access to some of the silos. This paper looks at the common problems and anti-patterns of integration and introduces the T2RL IO Score, for measuring the integration opportunity of airline systems, and the T2RL Agility Platform, a blueprint for addressing the challenges of enterprise integration within airlines.

Change and complexity are the two main contributing factors to failure in computer systems. Systems can sustain high levels of change if they are relatively simple and can survive being complex as long as they are relatively stable but the two combined tend to spell disaster.
