Domestic & International Passenger Traffic in 2024

This report presents T2RL's analysis of the domestic and international passenger
traffic markets for 2024, based on data of over 1000 airlines globally.
This closely mirrors the traffic distribution seen in 2019, suggesting that the industry has recovered from Covid-19 and is now exhibiting patterns similar to those of the pre-pandemic period.
In 2024, domestic traffic increased by 5%, while international traffic saw a 13% rise compared to 2023. When compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019, domestic traffic was up by 6%, and international traffic continued its upward trend with almost 1% increase.
T2RL recorded that 32 airlines commenced operations in 2024 of which, 18 offered only domestic services, 1 operated with only international service and 13 airlines offered both domestic and international services.
